POST 5 - SUMMER PLANS

Hello, everyone!

This post is very sad for me because it's been a long time since I've had a vacation.

I'm sure I'm not the only one.

 I'd like to talk to you about what I'd like to do in a parallel reality.

With my boyfriend we have many plans for this summer.

We are just waiting for me to finish my semester at the university so we can enjoy the holidays.

This summer we would like to travel to many places. First we would go to a beach in the north of Chile, because the water is not as cold as in the south.

We like quiet and clean beaches, where we could swim safely and calmly.

Then we would like to travel to the south, to Valdivia. To visit my best friend and be able to rest from the heat of Santiago.

In Valdivia we could drink very good beers and eat a lot of delicious food.

It`s in our plans to sleep late every day.

After all that rest, I would like to go back to Santiago to resume my work doing classes and playing violin with my bands. And maybe take some private violin lessons to get back to a good level.

At the same time I would like to take up sport again and go back to swimming.

I think that will be very necessary after having traveled to such beautiful places and having rested a lot.

Mainly, I think it's good to get in shape after having eaten so much delicious food in the south and drunk so much delicious beer.

A beautiful summer without a pineapple tree!

Well, that's my pretend vacation.

The truth is, I can't travel because I have to work so much to live.

POST 4 - TV SHOWS AND SERIES

Hello!

The subject of this post is very interesting for me because I've always liked watching TV, movies and series.

My all time favorite series is "Dragon Ball".

I first saw it on TV when I was 9 years old.

I remember that when I came home from school, I had to do all my homework so I could watch cartoons later.

It was a good time in my life, I remember that I loved to watch all the cartoons on that TV show. I watched "Saint Seiya," "Sailor Moon," "Slum Dunk," and "Dragon Ball.

A lot of those shows I've seen again now that I'm an adult. For example, I watched Saint Seiya again from the first episode on Netflix.

A couple of years ago, my sister and I watched the entire Sailor Moon series again. We loved it. Also, I think it was always ahead of its time because it tackles topics that until recently were not talked about with children, for example, sexual diversity and transsexuality.

But my favorite will always be Dragon Ball.

I've seen that series many times in my life and it never bores me. I like the plot, the music and the things you can learn. Like, for example, being a very persistent person.

In general I like shows that have an interesting plot, in almost every style except horror.

I have been highly recommended to a series called Marianne, but I am not able to watch it.

If I watch it I won't be able to sleep.

POST 3 - ACADEMIC CHALLENGES IN 2020

Hello!

The subject of this post is very interesting to me because we have known for a long time that many changes are needed in the curriculum of our career.

I don't know where to start, there are many aspects that need to be changed.

The infrastructure is very old and in very bad condition, currently the women's bathroom on the sixth floor has no window. I think that's terrible and uncomfortable.

Well, many times the elevators don't work and that affects us to be able to reach the classrooms that are on the upper floors.

I would like a library with more sheet music and not just books.

Ufff!

There are really many things that need to be improved. We need music stands, pianos that are in good condition and in tune.

As for the curriculum, I think it is necessary to complement it with subjects that can be taught in the first stage of the career. For example, history of music, aesthetics of art, etc.

I also think that there should be two orchestras of different levels for the joint practice subject.

I would also like to express my anger and indignation because the course is very long and a few years ago they changed the study plan and the result was that the course was extended for another year.

I think it is very unfair because in addition to taking up our time, it is more expensive for us.

Personally, I think it is necessary to improve the quality of the instrument teachers.

And demand that they be more professional when it comes to grading students.

Those are some of the suggestions I would like to share with you.

POST 2A - THE BEST CONCERT EVER

Hi everyone!!

Once, I wrote about the best concert that I went.

But now I am going to talk about the second best concerto that I went in my life (until now)

I remember it was in December 2018.

I went with my friend Manu to see a band called "La Brígida Orquesta" at  Teatro Oriente.

The musical style of this band is a mix between Jazz and Hip Hop.

The band has many musicians. It’s practically an orchestra that mainly includes bronze instruments such as trombones, saxophones and trumpets. In addition, it includes a drummer, a pianist and an MC.

The show was wonderful!

It started with my favorite band called "Como Asesinar a Felipes". They played their best songs.

While setting the stage for the main band, a DJ played. His show was accompanied with a spectacular light show.

In the end, the band that I went to see started to play.

I was too exited!

The presentation had everything !!

The musicians had costumes and combined them 4 times in the show

There were clowns, dancers and actors between each act of the show.

It is a very good band and I recommend it.

POST 1A : A COUNTRY I'D LIKE TO VISIT

Hello,

In this post I'm going to talk about a place that I always dreamed to visit.

I would like to visit Russia, because I have seen photographs and I think it’s a very beautiful place with large building.

I’d like to visit all the big cities of that country.

I want to know Moscow's Red Square, Saint Petersburg, the mountains, the beaches, I want to know their culture, taste all their meals and drink real Russian vodka.

Here in Chile I have a lot of Russian friends and we usually party together. They are very crazy and funny. For this reason, I think it would be very interesting to know their country.

Another very important reason to visit Russia is its music and its high level of music conservatories.

Personally, I admire Russian violinists very much.

Once, I took classes with a Russian teacher and it was a very good experience.

I would love to spend a season in Russia to study and be a violinist in that country.

POST 2 :THE BEST CONCERT OF MY LIFE ... (UNTIL NOW ...)

HI FRIENDS!

IN THIS POST I WILL TELL YOU A PRETTY EXPERIENCE THAT I HAD WITH A CONCERT.

IN MY LIFE, I DIDN'T GO TO MANY CONCERTS (AS PUBLIC)

I GENERALLY PLAY  WITH OTHER MUSICIANS, BANDS, ORCHESTS, ROPE ROOMS, ETC.

BUT ONE YEAR AGO, I WAS SOMETHING INCREDIBLE.

I KNEW A CALLED SAXOPHONIST CRISTIAN GALLARDO IN A "CANCHEO". AFTER WE MADE VERY FRIENDS, AND HE REQUESTED ME TO GO  TO HIS BAND TO TRY A NEW SONG WITH VIOLIN.

WHEN I ARRIVED I LEARNED THAT HIS BAND WAS "CÓMO ASESINAR A FELIPES" !!!!!! ONE OF MY FAVORITE CHILEAN BANDS.

ALMOST DIED FROM THE EMOTION, BUT I ACTED VERY NORMAL TO NOT BE PATHETIC.

AFTER THAT, I WAS INVITED TO RECORD IN THAT SONG, WHIT MY BEST  FRIEND MARINA. SHE PLAYS THE VIOLONCHELO.

IT HAPPENS TO LONG TIME, AND A MONTH AGO APPROXIMATELY, IT WAS LAUNCHING THAT DISK.

I WAS INVITED ME TO PLAY TOGETHER WITH THEM.

IT WAS MY DREAM !!!

PLAY MY VIOLIN WITH MY FAVORITE BAND!

NOW THEY ARE MY FRIENDS AND THEY CONTINUE TO INVITE ME TO PLAY WITH THEM.

FOR THIS REASON, THAT WAS THE BEST CONCERT OF MY LIFE, BUT I BELIEVE IT WILL NOT BE THE LAST.

POST 1: THE COUNTRY THAT I WOULD LIKE TO VISIT...

Hi Friends!

In this post, I am going to tell you about the country that I would most like to visit.

My dream is really to be able to travel all over the world playing my violin and to be able to deliver my music without idiomatic, political or religious borders.

It is a very hippie dream.

But the sad reality is that I am a poor student of arts in Chile ...

The good news is that dreaming is still free.

For this reason I want to tell you that my dream is to travel to Greece.

I have seen that place on television and I think it is a beautiful place that has everything I would like to visit if one day I manage to go.

It is a place with beautiful architecture, a lot of history.

"The cradle of western civilization"

I would like to know Acropolis of Athens, the Parthenon, the island of Crete, the black sand beaches, Meteora, Oya, etc.

Uff !! Many things.

In addition to knowing the culture of that place today and try all the typical foods.
